Zantech is looking for a talented Data Scientist to support our Federal Client during a cutting-edge enterprise information technology implementation.

The Data Scientist shall possess skills and expertise in machine learning tools to select features, create, and optimize classifiers. The ideal candidate should demonstrate collegiate-level writing skills, demonstrated familiarity with the U.S. Army organization and regulations, and strong organization and communication skills.

The data Scientist shall have the ability to communicate complex technical findings to a variety of audiences.

Shall demonstrate practical experience substantiating equivalent skills such as Structured Query Language, Microsoft Excel, R or Python statistical programming, Data Visualization, and Presentation Skills.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Designing, developing and maintaining database infrastructure



• Creating and managing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and consistency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience



• Minimum of four years of experience, two within DoD, working with big-data systems and developing production-level data models



• Security+ certification or higher



• Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and Advana data science is preferred.



• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills



• Strong communication skills



• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality data solutions
