Bookkeeper
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable/receivable, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and supporting the overall success of the organization.
This role is fully onsite in Norfolk VA
Salary: $65-75k/yr
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and tax preparation.
Requirements:
- 4+ years related work experience
- QuickBooks experience
$65,000 - $75,000 a year
