Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans and discharge plans
• Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reasoning skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Patient assessment and treatment plan development
• Direct patient care and documentation
• Supervision of support staff
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards
