Healthcare Customer Service Expert - Remote job at Tribe Staffing, LLC. Location: Bridgewater, VA. As a Healthcare Customer Service Expert, you will be the first point of contact for patients needing home healthcare services. The role is remote in a high-volume call center environment and involves handling approximately 60-65 incoming calls per day from providers, referral sources and patients. Start Date: Monday, February 10th, 2025 | Hourly Rate: $17.50/hr + Monthly Bonus Incentive opportunity | Training & Nesting Period: 4 to 6 weeks | Training & Nesting Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm EST | Available Shift After Training & Nesting: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Contract, Internship

Salary: $30.00 - $52.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic customer service as the first point of contact for patients and callers, handling basic information requests and more complex inquiries with patience.
• Handle a high-volume workflow in a remote call center, averaging 60-65 inbound calls per day from providers, referral sources and patients.
• Collect clinical and demographic information and enter data accurately into the CareCentrix portal.
• Demonstrate excellent empathy and patience when dealing with difficult callers or complex requests.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and comply with all company policies, including HIPAA/PHI.
• Strive to meet or exceed individual performance goals in Call Quality, Attendance, Adherence, and other contact center metrics.
• Collaborate with team members who bring a positive attitude and contribute to a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the healthcare or medical industry with medical terminology.
• Ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications.
• Intermediate keyboarding abilities (at least 30 WPM, data entry while actively listening).
• Proficiency with search engines and basic computer navigation (opening a browser, bookmarking, back/forward navigation).
• Basic PC skills with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams for communication and meetings.
