Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

At King's Grant, we're seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team. As a CNA, you'll be at the heart of providing person-centered care and building meaningful relationships with residents on a daily. Whether you're assisting with activities of daily livingsuch as grooming, bathing, dining, or mobilityor interacting with residents and their loved ones, your role will be vital in enhancing the lives of our residents, families, and loved ones.

Part Time 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM - regular schedule is every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

Memory Care - 2nd Shift

The primary responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) include, but are not limited to, assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's); bathing, dressing, toileting and dining; documenting resident care, while always respecting and promoting each resident's rights and always maintaining a clean and safe home-like environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have completed 80-hour certification courses in Geriatric Nursing or is presently enrolled.
• Must have passed Virginia NACEP test after completion of 80-hour certification course.
• Must have current Nursing Assistant license through Virginia Board of Nursing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain its integrity.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in stressful environment and deal with medical emergency situations.
• Strong customer service skills; maintain a hospitality approach to engaging with all individuals.
