Accounting Specialist

Location: Onsite Schedule: Full-time Start Date: ASAP

We are partnering with a reputable and growing organization to hire an Accounting Specialist for an immediate opening. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a strong pathway to a permanent position with a stable and collaborative team.

About the Role The Accounting Specialist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting with reporting processes. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports

• Create and manage purchase orders and invoices

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• Support audits and assist with ad hoc accounting projects

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• strong knowledge of AP/AR processes

• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
