Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in maintaining strict sterile technique and infection prevention
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and perioperative documentation

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery, including assessment, education, and documentation
• Perform intraoperative duties, anticipating the needs of the surgical team
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes throughout surgical interventions
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Ensure accurate completion of all perioperative records and communications
• Support patient and family needs from pre-op through post-op recovery
