Caseload: 1517 Students
Contract Term: 20252026 School Year
Pay Rate: $33.50$45.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time onsite position in the Waverly, VA area. This is a contract opportunity for the 20252026 school year, with a manageable caseload and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs

• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field

• Valid Virginia teaching license with Special Education endorsement, (Conditional licenses accepted!)

• Previous experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred

• Strong munication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage a caseload of 1517 students effectively
