Project Manager

Hybrid Must be hybrid in RVA in Richmond, VA

Our client is a Fortune 100 financial services and technology leader known for large-scale cloud adoption, mobile platforms, and Agile delivery. Rate: $40.00 to $45.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Manage the project using formal project management practices to meet policy compliance dates.
• Lead meetings, track actions, and drive outcomes across workstreams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, including milestones and dependencies.
• Monitor progress, provide oversight, and escalate roadblocks to leadership when necessary.
• Partner and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver remediation outcomes.
• Create and present slides and dashboards to communicate status and recommendations to leaders.
• Coordinate third-party remediation efforts to align with Third Party Risk Management and Spend policies.
• Support problem solving and recommend solutions to address risks and gaps.
• Execute project closeout ensuring all requirements are met and documentation is complete.

Experience Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing projects using formal project management methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or Google Sheets and Slides.
• Proven attention to detail in planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to develop detailed plans and schedules and manage progress across teams.
• Experience escalating risks and impediments to leadership with clear recommendations.
• Effective communication skills with leaders and stakeholders, including presentation development.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to problem solve and recommend practical solutions.
