We’re a premium steakhouse with a growing private‐events program, and we’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to help lead our culinary team. This role supports daily steakhouse service while also driving prep, execution, and quality for private dinners, corporate events, and VIP experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Lead line operations and ensure consistent steak temps, plating standards, and timing
- Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen management and team leadership
- Oversee prep lists, event production, and execution for private dining and multi‐course dinners
- Train, coach, and motivate cooks to maintain a professional, high‐standards kitchen
- Assist with ordering, inventory, vendor communication, and recipe consistency
- Maintain strict sanitation, safety, and compliance standards
- Adapt quickly to event changes, dietary needs, and last‐minute adjustments
What You Bring
- 3+ years as a Sous Chef or strong Lead Line Cook in a high‐volume or upscale kitchen
- Strong steakhouse skills: grill, broiler, butchery, finishing
- Experience with banquets, private dining, or event‐driven service
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient during high‐pressure service
- A passion for quality, consistency, and elevated guest experiences
