Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Sales Optimization

  • Lead, coach, and energize a team of business development and branch leaders.
  • Establish and drive ambitious growth goals across multiple revenue streams.
  • Monitor performance, ensure accountability, and celebrate team success.
  • Champion company values by embedding them into daily culture and execution.

Business Development (Player/Coach)

  • Personally drive new business while supporting your team’s efforts.
  • Build and expand client relationships with tailored financial solutions.
  • Partner with specialists across the organization to deliver comprehensive client support.
  • Represent the company as a visible leader in the community through business and civic involvement.

Branch Network Leadership

  • Provide direct oversight of branch leaders and staff, ensuring growth goals are consistently met.
  • Create accountability and excitement around sales, service, and client relationship excellence.
  • Elevate the client experience through concierge-level service and proactive engagement.
  • Strengthen community presence by fostering local impact and visibility.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver holistic client solutions.
  • Partner with executive leadership to help shape and execute market growth strategies.
  • Provide insights on client needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within financial services.
  • Proven ability to lead branch networks and business development teams.
  • Strong expertise in relationship management, business development, and revenue growth.
  • Established professional presence and network in the Greater Richmond area.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
