Human Resources Business Partner

Liebherr is seeking a strategic and results-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our senior and executive leadership teams. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with a strong generalist background and a passion for aligning people strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of HR practices, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and drive change in a dynamic environment.

A critical plus for this role is prior experience in a manufacturing environment, where understanding operational dynamics and workforce challenges is essential to success.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leadership, providing strategic HR guidance and support.
• Provides HR leadership and support within a manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment with operational goals and workforce needs.
• Partners with manufacturing leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Provides guidance to managers on employment law issues and escalates concerns as required.
• Leads and manages complex employee relations issues with a focus on resolution and risk mitigation.
• Drives change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and growth.
• Applies strong business acumen to understand key drivers of organizational performance and contributes to business planning.
• Leverages data and analytics to improve decision-making and to measure HR effectiveness.
• Supports workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning efforts.
• Champions a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, and employee engagement.
• Collaborates across HR functions to implement programs that foster a high-performance culture.

Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and 1-2 years of HR experience; or an equivalent combination of education and direct Human Resources experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner.
• Strong business acumen and analytical abilities with a focus on strategic planning and business alignment
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role, preferably within a startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to guide and influence Human Resources initiatives.
• Proficiency in HR software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
