The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a full-time specialist in Cardiac Anesthesiology at our Tysons Corner Medical Center and Virginia Hospital Center.

Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

• Case Mix: Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, ENT, Bread & Butter Pediatrics, Spine, OB, endoscopy, EP. No open hearts or Neurosurgery
• To work on average 40-45 hours a week (annual salary based strictly on a 40-hour work week. Option to work more for extra pay or time off)
• Call approximately 1:7 weekdays & an average of 1 weekend call per month
• Guaranteed post-call day off
• Minimal CRNA supervision

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesia
• Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• New Graduating Fellows welcome to apply

The starting annual salary for this position is $450,000 which considers an applicants skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
