Position Overview
We are seeking a technically sharp, client-facing AI Software Engineer to build and deploy production-grade AI solutions that deliver real-world impact. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of applied machine learning, cloud engineering, and client collaboration.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI systems, automate decision-making processes, and drive operational efficiency across industries. Your experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, and modern deployment pipelines will help shape solutions that are not only powerful, but also practical and maintainable.
Your ability to think strategically, code reliably, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders will be key to accelerating AI adoption and transforming how organizations work.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Public Policy, or a related discipline is required for all roles.
- In lieu of a formal degree, candidates may qualify with equivalent work experience demonstrating progressive responsibility and expertise in AI strategy, architecture, delivery, or enablement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience building production-level AI/ML systems, including Large Language Models (LLMs), agents, or advanced automation frameworks
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software applications using Agile methodologies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with programming languages, tools, and web development stacks such as JavaScript, Python, or Scala
- Experience using automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance
- Experience gathering client requirements and resolving workflow challenges through automation
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and cognitive architectures
- Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or Microsoft AutoGen
Preferred Attributes
- Master's degree in computer science, AI data engineering, or a related technical field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II/III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+) for federal compliance
- Experience with MLOps pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD for AI deployments
- Familiarity with vector databases, LLMOps tools, and secure AI/LLM deployment in cloud-native environments
