Job Description

We are seeking five experienced cable pullers with shipyard experience to join our team working on the USS KIDD. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an important project over a six-month period.

Responsibilities

• Pull cables effectively within the shipyard environment.
• Route cableways accurately and efficiently.
• Perform qualified firewatch duties to ensure safety on site.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in cable pulling within a shipyard setting.
• Experience with cableway routing.
• Qualified to perform firewatch duties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working in shipyards is required.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a shipyard setting with shifts running from 0600 to 1445, Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays if needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
