Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $27.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report access control concerns involving employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors.
• Support site emergency and evacuation activities, provide detailed incident reports, and assist with investigations involving security-related concerns, property issues, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
