Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Perform maintenance and service work per manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure all repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines.
- Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing technical training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Automotive Dealer Service Technician experience (dealership experience preferred).
- ASE certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) preferred.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical service bulletins.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
