One of our clients needs a Virtual Platform Administrator for a permanent position.

• Position: Corporate Enterprise Network Engineer Senior (WAN)
• Location: Remote
• Position Type: Full-time

The Corporate Enterprise Network Engineer Senior (WAN) will provide expert-level network engineering, implementation, and sustainment support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations (J6) mission. This role ensures reliable, secure, and high - performance WAN connectivity across DLA's global enterprise infrastructure, supporting logistics, supply chain, and mission-critical communication worldwide.

Duties Include:

• Develops the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion.
• Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
• Support SD-WAN and MPLS architecture, network segmentation, and routing protocols in alignment with DLA's enterprise standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot WAN performance, latency, and throughput using network tools. (CISCO LAN)
• Configure and test interconnects between WAN edge routers and 10 Gbps - capable switches
• Optimize throughput and performance - making sure the WAN can efficiently carry large data transfers that originate from LAN segments

Minimum Experience:

• Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas included in the related task area specified in the Statement of Work. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
• Expert experience with a COTS 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN and associated software and hardware equipment.

Desired Experience:

• Three (3) years hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions.

Required Certifications/Clearance:

• Active Top Secret DoD clearance
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification : Category IAT Level II - CompTIASecurity+, SSCP, or GSEC
• CISCO Certified Network Associate - CCNA
• Plus Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
