Job Title: Electrical Foreman and Electrical Superintendents

Job Description

We are seeking one Electrical Foreman and two Electrical Superintendents to oversee both underground and above-ground solar electrical installation work for a self-perform solar project. The ideal candidates will possess experience in managing crews and providing project oversight under the direction of the Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee crews for solar electrical installation projects.
• Ensure successful completion of both underground and above-ground electrical work.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager to achieve project goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise.
• Interpret and implement plans from blueprints and schematics.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of solar electrical experience.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Proficiency in electrical, conduit, and wiring tasks.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation.
• Skill in conduit bending and pulling wire.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Classified as a mechanic or journeyman in a non-solar industry.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Willingness to perform labor and non-electrical related tasks.
• Ability to use a scanner or computer effectively.

Work Environment

Work takes place outdoors on a 65 MW solar project in Farnham, VA. The environment is new construction, with work scheduled from Monday to Friday, consisting of 5-hour shifts starting at 7 AM, with occasional weekend work. Employees will have three breaks throughout the day and are expected to wear appropriate outdoor clothing. Daily safety talks will be conducted before work begins.

This is a Contract position based out of Farnham, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
