Interactive Teller

The Interactive Teller is responsible for accurately assisting members with their financial transactions on share and loan accounts as requested and providing information to members regarding membership, new accounts, loans, and all other services of the Credit Union. Reports to the Interactive Teller Manager.
Responsible and Accountable for:
- Deliver an exceptional member experience through ITM technology. The experience will include accurate and efficient transaction processing and friendly and professional service delivery.
- Ability to consistently follow check processing protocols and make accurate, independent decisions on items presented
- Responsible for processing member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
- Ability to maintain a workstation that projects a positive brand image.
- Deepening member relationships by providing information concerning products and services that would complement the existing relationship with the credit union.
- Take ownership for resolving member requests and providing follow up to ensure member satisfaction.
- Utilize available time efficiently, consistently adhering to availability, adherence to schedule and interaction goals.
- Project a professional and friendly image at all times.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively respond to member inquiries in a positive and courteous manner.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high traffic volume.
- Engaging and effective communicator, primarily through the ITM technology.
- Ability to multi-task by operating multi-monitors and software systems at the same time.
- Knowledgeable with Word and Excel
- Ability to make quick decisions that will protect the Credit Union from potential losses.
- Ability to respond, establish and maintain control when handling challenging interactions while simultaneously representing Chartway with the highest degree of professionalism.
- Ability to successfully recommend Chartway products and services to achieve organizational and member financial goals.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High school education or equivalent GED.
- Experience: Approximately one year of cash handling and customer service experience.
