$19.26/hour
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Loader to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Fredericksburg, VA. This contract opportunity offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the chance to grow within a stable organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for loading merchandise onto trailers, verifying orders, and ensuring products are safely and accurately prepared for store delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Load merchandise onto trailers for store delivery
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues
• Verify orders by checking labels, SKU numbers, and quantities
• Ensure proper weight distribution for safe transportation
• Arrange loads to maximize trailer space and minimize damage
• Remove and palletize store returns, totes, and materials from incoming trailers
• Complete load diagrams and required documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking and records
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Collaborate with warehouse team members and drivers to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and count accurately
• Experience operating (or ability to be certified on) forklifts and other equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods

Core Competencies

• Safely secure trailers using dock lock systems
• Manually stack and wrap merchandise as needed
• Separate and track RX totes, ensuring accurate counts and documentation
• Use load bars and boards to secure shipments
• Complete load diagrams and ensure proper trailer sealing
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping
• Standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with seasonal temperature changes
• Exposure to moving equipment and conveyor systems
