Position Summary

Defense Holdings, Inc. (DHi) is seeking a Hybrid Senior Accounting Analyst (Team Support & Oversight) to provide accounting analysis, support the accounting team, and oversee financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of supervising accounting operations.

This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate with team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Accounts Processing

• Analyze financial statements and accounting data.
• Support the accounting team with reconciliations and reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.

Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support audits and internal controls.

Cross-Department Coordination

• Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams.
• Ensure accounting processes align with company policies and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in government contracting or defense-related accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting platforms.
