Step confidently into your next opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade for the upcoming school year. This contract role, located near Capron, VA, is ideal for those passionate about making a positive difference in student development and educational outcomes.

You’ll work full-time, providing occupational therapy services during a Monday through Friday schedule, for a total of 37.5 hours each week. The assignment begins on August 31, 2026, and continues through June 11, 2027. This role offers the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams while delivering individualized interventions and supporting students’ growth.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working closely with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade
• Commitment to evidence-based and inclusive practices
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver therapy to students with a range of needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Provide consultation and education to teachers and parents to support student participation in academic and social activities
• Attend meetings, contribute professional expertise, and help integrate therapy goals into daily routines
