Job Summary
T he Technology Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control activities that ensure products, components, and systems meet defined specifications and quality standards. This role combines hands-on inspection and testing with a solid understanding of the Quality Management System and the impact of nonconformances on equipment and system performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous improvement.
Job Description
- Inspect documentation, parts, components, materials, subassemblies, and equipment against established specifications
- Use calibrated measurement systems with acceptable repeatability and reproducibility
- Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in accordance with approved procedures and standard work
- Assist with the design, setup, and execution of test fixtures and test methods
- Ensure inspection and testing activities are conducted safely; participate in hazard analysis and risk control reviews
- Perform calibration of measurement systems when authorized
- Maintain familiarity with inspection procedures, test plans, and standard work, and contribute to their continuous improvement
- Accurately document inspection and test results and monitor result stability over time when feasible
- Apply manufacturing system principles and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives
S kills Required
- Quality Control/ Quality Assurance Experience.
- Experience with quality specification and their understanding
- Experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (industry experience flexible)
- Ability to read and interpret standards, procedures, and technical documentation
- Strong mathematical skills and basic measurement proficiency
- Comfortable using computer systems for data entry and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift experience (certification provided onsite)
- Familiarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems
- 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Workweek: Sunday night through Friday morning
- Overtime: Weekend overtime opportunities available
- Training: Initial 6–8 weeks of training on day shift (typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including coveralls and safety glasses
- Strict adherence to site safety rules and procedures
Education
- High school diploma or equival ent;
Pay Rate
- $20 per hour and higher depending on experience
