Pulmonary Associates of Richmond, a fully independent, physician-owned, pulmonary, allergy, and sleep medicine practice, seeks to hire a full-time partner track Allergy Physician. For 50 years, we have been the premier provider of pulmonary outpatient care in central Virginia, with five locations, each offering full PFTs, allergy testing and immunotherapy, and dispensing of biologic therapy.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Allergy Physician (Allergist-Immunologist) to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with allergies, immunologic, and respiratory conditions. The physician will provide comprehensive care for both adult patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunologic disorders, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin prick testing, patch testing, spirometry, and pulmonary function tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy (allergy shots), biologic therapies, and patient education.
- Manage acute allergic reactions and provide emergency treatment when
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on allergen avoidance, medication use, and disease
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulatory
- Collaborate with primary care providers, pulmonologists, dermatologists, and other
- Stay current with advancements in allergy and immunology through continuing medical
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited
- Board certification in Allergy and Immunology
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
- Demonstrated experience in a health care or clinical
- Familiarity with biologic therapies and advanced immunologic treatments
