At Chatterboxes, our mission is to create a more sustainable long-term career path for Speech-Language Pathologists.

We don’t believe clinician wellbeing and high-quality care can coexist with overwhelming caseloads, excessive direct therapy demands, and the expectation that documentation, meetings, and planning happen late into the evenings and weekends.

Across our industry, many high-paying positions come at a hidden cost: burnout. Large workloads, nonstop emotional output, after-hours responsibilities, and limited support have become normalized in many settings and research continues to show how deeply these conditions impact clinician retention, mental wellbeing, and long-term sustainability within our field.

Rather than maximizing utilization at the expense of our clinicians, we prioritize manageable workloads, meaningful clinical support, mentorship, work-life balance, and career longevity.
