Paraplanner Financial Advisor ~ Washington, D.C. area Financial Services

$90k, plus great benefits, growing company!

My client is well established financial services company located in the Washington, D.C. area. with a need for a Paraplanner Financial Advisor to join their experienced team! The Paraplanner will help clients achieve their financial goals through assessing their needs and providing appropriate financial product solutions. The Paraplanner Financial Advisor will be responsible for growing an existing book of business and have the following duties:

· Assisting the Senior Financial Planner with daily operations

· Building customer relationships and servicing accounts

· Guiding clients through the financial planning process

· Provide advice on investment strategies and annual objectives

· Stay update to date on current market changes and products changes

· Maintain compliance with all regulatory laws

· Conduct research in preparation of client meetings

Requirements :

2 + years’ experience

BS/BA degree

Have an active Series 6, 63, or 65

Active Life and Health Insurance licenses is a plus

Experience in banking/financial services is highly preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

• Active Series 6 and Series 63 licenses are required; Series 65 is preferred.

• Life and Health Insurance licenses are highly desirable.

• Familiarity with banking or financial services is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks and experience with accounts receivable and invoice processing.

• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to prepare and execute annual financial plans effectively.
