Job Title: Pharmacist (Inpatient)
Position Type: Contract 3 Months with high chances of extension
Pay Range: $65–70/hour (W2)
Location: Fishersville, VA 22939
Shift: Rotating 8-hour Day/Evening shifts OR consistent Evening shift

✅ MUST HAVE (Strict Requirements)

• Active Virginia Pharmacist (RPH) License
• Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Experience (Minimum 1 Year)
• Hands-on experience with Meditech (Charting System)
• IV Compounding & Sterile Technique Experience
• Community Hospital Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform medication order verification ensuring accuracy and safety
• Oversee IV room operations & sterile compounding
• Manage automated dispensing systems
• Execute renal dosing, anticoagulation, and pharmacokinetics
• Monitor therapeutic drug levels and adjust treatments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams

Additional Details

• 3–5 years hospital experience preferred (minimum 1 year required)
• First-time travelers welcome
• Weekend rotation every 3–4 weeks
• No on-call requirement
• Flu Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
