About the Role:

We are looking for a Mechanic to help service and maintain our pedal bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters. This role is ideal for mechanically-inclined operations professionals that want to broaden and build their career experiences.

You will also be responsible for coordinating and the delivery of our e-scooters, pedal bikes and e-bikes to our customers all over the Bay Area. This role is ideal for bicycle mechanics and driver professionals that want to broaden and build their career experiences.

Responsibilities

Bicycle Mechanic

• The assembly and maintenance of pedal bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters.
• Perform a broad spectrum of repairs from tuning a bicycle to the most complicated electronic part replacement.
• Follow processes. Comply with, improve upon and enforce processes.
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties and make sure Ridepanda customers are on the safest vehicles.
• Problem solve. Will need to spot issues and find creative ways to overcome obstacles that come your way.

Deliveries

• Plan and execute optimal delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Respond promptly to emails from customers regarding delivery schedules, inquiries or issues.
• Provide excellent customer service during the delivery process, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Proven work experience working as a bicycle mechanic.
• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic in the bicycle industry.
• Capable of tuning up bicycles including adjusting shifting and hydraulic disc brakes
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
• Motivated, energetic individual who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
• Strong attention to detail, and able to follow strict maintenance procedures.
• Comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new tools.
