Your Role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Discovery ABA:

As an RBT , you will implement ABA therapy programs developed by a BCBA , providing one-on-one therapy to children with autism in home and community settings in Virginia . You'll help clients develop essential social, emotional, and life skills, while collaborating closely with caregivers and the clinical team to ensure consistent treatment implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Implement ABA therapy programs focused on skill acquisition and behavior reduction .
• Collect and analyze data to track client progress and inform treatment plans.
• Work with caregivers and team members to ensure consistent therapy implementation.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing training provided by BCBAs .
• Ensure a safe , supportive , and engaging environment for clients during therapy sessions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the ABA field is required .
• Previous Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician experience
• RBT certification (or in progress) is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-oriented environment .
