Title: Bank Security Equipment Service Technician
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Rate: $27–$30

Primary Duties

• Diagnose equipment problems and implement appropriate fixes

• Travel to client locations to complete repair and service work

• Keep accurate inventory of tools and parts stocked in the service vehicle

• Provide estimated arrival times and status updates to customers

• Clearly explain completed work or required follow-up actions once onsite

• Coordinate regularly with dispatch regarding job progress

• Request and track parts needed for ongoing or future repairs

Qualifications & Technical Background
Candidates should have hands-on experience in multiple areas such as:

• Repair and support of ATM and TCR systems (advanced/second-line level preferred)

• Installation and troubleshooting of alarm and intrusion systems

• Experience with access control hardware and configuration

• Knowledge of video surveillance systems, including both IP and analog setups

• Ability to service drive-through banking systems (including pneumatic tube equipment)

• Familiarity with physical security components like safes, locking systems, and vaults

• Exposure to coin and cash handling machinery

• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer interaction

Equipment & Systems Exposure (Preferred)
Familiarity with a range of security, financial, and mechanical systems is beneficial, including:

• Industry-standard alarm and access brands and related hardware

• Video monitoring platforms and recording solutions

• Banking equipment such as ATMs, dispensers, and transaction systems

• Mechanical and electronic locking devices and safe systems

• Drive-up banking components like tube systems and drawers

• Cash processing and coin-handling equipment

Work Schedule

• Standard full-time role with daytime hours

• Primarily weekday schedule with very limited weekend requirements

• Participation in an on-call rotation as needed

Compensation

• Pay determined based on relevant experience and skill level

Basic Requirements

• Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving history

• Ability to successfully complete background screening and drug testing

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required

• Willingness to relocate prior to starting if not already local

• Comfortable working independently in a mobile, field-based position

Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
