Our **basic plumbing services** include faucet and toilet installation or replacement, showerhead upgrades, P-trap cleaning, garbage disposal replacement, shutoff valve installation, water pressure adjustments, and minor pipe leak repairs. We also handle **extensive drain clogs**, leak detection using moisture sensors or pressure testing, partial pipe rerouting, toilet flange repairs, water heater replacement (up to 75 gallons), sump pump installs, ADA-compliant fixture upgrades, urinal services, and backflow preventer installation and testing. For more complex needs, our **advanced services** cover hydro jetting of main lines, sewer camera inspections (CCTV), trenchless sewer repair, full building repiping (copper, PEX, CPVC), commercial boiler or water heater installations, grease trap systems, submetering for multi-tenant buildings, booster and recirculation pump systems, storm and roof drain cleaning, and thermal or acoustic leak detection. We also provide code compliance inspections, emergency plumbing response, and seasonal services like winterizing exposed lines. Responsibilities

As a Journeyman Plumber at Momentus Field Service, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing services for commercial properties throughout Virginia. Your core duties will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, showerheads, garbage disposals, urinals, and water heaters. You will handle minor and extensive pipe leak repairs, perform drain cleaning and clog removal using standard tools and hydro-jetting equipment, and conduct sewer camera inspections (CCTV) for diagnostics. Leak detection using moisture sensors, thermal imaging, or acoustic tools will be part of your investigative tasks. You will be expected to reroute piping, install backflow preventers, sump pumps, and ADA-compliant fixtures, as well as support the installation and maintenance of commercial water heating systems and booster pump systems. Requirements
1. In general, plumbing work requires comprehensive training and hands-on experience, typically gained through a formal apprenticeship or comparable education and practical background

2. Journeyman Plumbers license for the state of Virginia or reciprocity state.
3. 1 year of experience
4. Backflow certification is preferred but not mandatory

5. Must have and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and a clean driving record, as required by company policy, in order to operate company vehicles or equipment related to the job

Unlike retail or pharmacy settings such as Walmart, Dollar Tree, or CVS, where employees work indoors with customers, our plumbers spend most of their time in the field. This includes:
