Job Description
This role requires an experienced electrician who confidently reads and interprets electrical schematics and blueprints, and performs high-quality wire termination, soldering, and cable pulling in a complex industrial and military environment. You will apply your extensive electrical expertise to support critical systems on a military installation, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to plan and execute installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Terminate electrical connections and components with precision, following established standards and safety practices.
- Pull, route, and organize wiring and cabling in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components using schematics and technical documentation to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams and other trades to support testing, installation, and maintenance activities on electrical systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and security requirements associated with working on a military installation.
- Document work performed, including updates to schematics or wiring records, to maintain accurate technical information.
Essential Skills
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong proficiency in electrical wiring, including terminating and pulling wires in complex environments.
- Demonstrated skill in soldering electrical connections and components.
- Experience as an electrician in a Navy or similar military environment is heavily preferred.
- Ability to work accurately with detailed technical documentation and schematics.
- Strong adherence to safety standards and procedures in electrical work.

This is a Contract position based out of Norfolk, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
