Software Developer III Location Hybrid work in Chantilly, VA :

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Developer III to join a premier software, research, and consulting firm in Chantilly, VA through 90% remote presence . The Software Developer III will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software while solving complex technical challenges and continuously learning new technologies. The Software Developer III will troubleshoot issues, collaborate across departments, mentor peers, and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Responsibilities of the Software Developer III include:

• Develop, maintain, test, and document software to ensure high performance and reliability
• Solve complex technical challenges and continuously learn new technologies to improve development process
• Manage software libraries and troubleshoot defects by diagnosing and fixing issues
• Collaborate with different departments to ensure effective application design and usage
• Communicate technical concepts clearly with various stakeholders and peers
• Work independently and in a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and adaptability

Qualifications of the Software Developer III include:

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing web-based solutions
• Experience with MEAN stack & developing RESTful webservices
• Experience with microservice-base architecture and building secure systems
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance

Compensation for the Software Developer III includes:

• Salary Range: $125,000-$140,000 **depending on experience**
