Job Summary

We are looking for a Virginia-licensed LMFT to provide therapy through telehealth. This position involves regular client sessions, treatment planning, progress documentation, and relationship-focused clinical care for clients dealing with family concerns, partner conflict, stress, emotional health needs, and everyday challenges.

Position Details

Location: Virginia
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients virtually for scheduled therapy sessions
• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families
• Assess client needs and create practical treatment goals
• Help clients improve communication, manage conflict, and work through emotional or relational concerns
• Complete clinical notes, treatment plans, and required records on time
• Maintain ethical and confidential care in a remote setting
• Use telehealth and electronic documentation systems appropriately
• Refer clients to additional services when clinically appropriate

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Active Virginia LMFT license in good standing
• Previous clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
• Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual sessions
