Machine Operator / Production Associate
Location: Wytheville, VA
Pay: $18.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential ($19.50Hr)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
(Some weeks may shift to Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM based on production needs)
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Production Associate to support the manufacturing and inspection of vehicle hubs for major automotive companies including Toyota, Nissan, and GM.
This is a floater position, meaning candidates must be flexible and willing to work in different areas of production as needed to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate production machinery to manufacture vehicle hub components
• Perform finishing and inspection of parts to ensure quality standards
• Follow work instructions and production guidelines accurately
• Use basic measuring tools and gauges (preferred)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet daily production goals and customer order requirements
Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and hand dexterity
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, independent environment
• Basic math skills required (math test required – must show work)
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be dependable with good attendance
Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ year of manufacturing or machining experience
• Experience using gauges or measuring tools
• Previous machine operation experience is a plus
