Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Occasional weekend call to back up Center Manager) We are seeking a motivated MRI leader who will provide day-to-day operational oversight of the MRI Center while serving as a clinical resource and working technologist as needed.
In this role, you will partner closely with the Center Manager to ensure quality patient care, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
You will play a key role in maintaining accreditation standards, improving workflows, supporting staff development, and ensuring a high-performance, patient-focused environment. What You’ll Do
Leadership & Operations
- Provide daily oversight of MRI center operations and serve as backup to the Center Manager
- Support and supervise clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure a high-performance, patient-centered team
- Drive employee engagement through communication, accountability, recognition, and development
- Manage staff scheduling, retention, recruitment, and performance management
- Accept and resolve patient concerns professionally when the Center Manager is unavailable
- Foster a cooperative, friendly, and accountable workplace culture
- Coordinate and lead regular center or department meetings
- Coordinate MRI accreditation activities in partnership with leadership
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain and evaluate quality and performance metrics
- Support Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives
- Ensure policies and management standards are consistently communicated and upheld
- Perform MRI scans and technologist duties as needed
- Maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient safety
- Support workflow efficiency while delivering excellent patient care
- ARRT certification or completion of an accredited MRI technologist program
- Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience , including 2 years in a lead or supervisory role , or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current BLS certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
