Logistician IV

Geodesicx, Inc. is in search of a Logistician IV to join our team in the Norfolk, VA area.

The Logistician IV is responsible for providing advanced defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics management principles, practices, and processes. This role involves supervising logistics specialists and supporting various Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Command and Control (C2) systems across multiple platforms supporting Department of Defense end users.

Specific Duties:

• Provide advanced logistics support in the life-cycle management of electronic systems, ensuring efficient and effective logistics processes.
• Analyze contracts, system design specifications, engineering/systems management data, and develop logistics plans and procedures.
• Develop logistics management plans and guidelines to support project and program objectives.
• Supervise logistics specialists, providing guidance and direction in logistics activities.
• Participate in logistics meetings and activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
• Ensure compliance with logistics management policies and standards, maintaining the integrity of logistics operations.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to coordinate logistics support activities, optimizing supply chain processes.
• Support acquisition logistics functions such as provisioning, obsolescence management, configuration management, and technical documentation development.

Experience Requirements:

• Ten (10) years with a Master's degree or 14 years with a Bachelor's degree of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics management principles, practices, and processes.
• At least six (6) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, including analyzing contracts, system design specifications, engineering/systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures, and developing logistics management plans and guidelines.
• Experience supervising Logistics Specialists.
