Chief Nursing Officer
Advocate for and promote the use of technology to streamline operations, improve communication, and enhance workflow efficiency.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement programs, policies, and procedures that address patient care needs, from assessment to evaluation.
Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, fostering strong, effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strategic goals are achieved.
Engage with the hospital's governing body, senior leadership, medical staff, and clinical teams in decision-making and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Strengthen community partnerships to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the health and well-being of the population served.
Ensure that nursing staff across the organization are actively involved in shared governance, setting standards of practice and addressing clinical concerns.
Facilitate open communication, ensuring decision-making flows smoothly between nursing staff, leadership, and the CNO.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
Master's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership or management role, with at least 3 years of direct leadership in a hospital or acute care setting.
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Behavioral health nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is essential. (Outpatient experience will not be considered.)
