As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, assist with customer service and communication, and document observations while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and tenants by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate parties and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the property perimeter, as required by post orders.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, unauthorized entry, and/or policy violations, and provide directions and assistance to visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and daily shift documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
