Data Engineer
Kforce has a client in Fairfax, VA that is seeking a Data Engineer. Responsibilities:
- Contributes to completion of technical milestones associated with specific projects, maintain documentation and version control (Git)
- Develops and conducts automate tests to ensure data integrity and security within our isolated network environments (PostgreSQL)
- Integrates DevSecOps best practices into the development lifecycle by building automated deployment pipelines that scan for vulnerabilities and enforce secure configuration standards across the private cloud infrastructure
- Collaborates with data science team to transform raw data and integrate machine learning models into automated processes
- Works with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, JVM-languages (Java or Scala) for Spark
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
