Job Title: Field Field Service Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and service building systems including HVAC controls, lighting controls, access control systems, and energy monitoring solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, customer satisfaction, and timely resolution of service requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC control systems.

• Install, program, and service lighting control systems.

• Troubleshoot and maintain access control systems, including hardware and software components.

• Monitor and support energy management and energy monitoring systems.

• Perform system testing, calibration, and commissioning as required.

• Respond promptly to service calls and provide technical support to clients.

• Document service activities, including reports, updates, and system modifications.

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance and recommended improvements.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working with HVAC controls, lighting controls, access control, or energy monitoring systems.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems, networking, and control wiring.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Valid driver's license (if field-based role).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).

• Knowledge of low-voltage systems and integration platforms.

• Technical certification or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, or related field.
