Overview
The Light Industrial Employment Specialist is responsible for recruiting, screening, placing, and supporting candidates in light industrial roles such as warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, and logistics positions. This role serves as the bridge between job seekers and employer partners, ensuring high-quality placements that meet both workforce needs and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Candidate Management
- Source, recruit, and screen candidates for light industrial positions (e.g., warehouse associates, forklift operators, production workers, assemblers).
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ skills, work history, and job readiness.
- Administer pre-employment assessments, background checks, and drug screenings as required.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet client demand.
Job Placement & Matching
- Match candidates to appropriate roles based on skills, experience, and availability.
- Coordinate job offers, onboarding, and orientation processes.
- Ensure timely placements to meet client staffing needs.
Client Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employer partners.
- Understand client workforce needs, job requirements, and workplace expectations.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding staffing updates and candidate performance.
Employee Support & Retention
- Provide ongoing support to placed employees, addressing concerns and challenges.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure job satisfaction and performance success.
- Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve engagement.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, placements, and employment data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
- Track metrics such as fill rates, retention, and time-to-placement.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- 2 years business related experience or a bachelor’s degree
