• Summary: A progressive pharmacy is hiring a PRN Retail Pharmacist to work weekends and provide education, product guidance, and pharmacy support in a fast-growing setting. If you're licensed in Virginia and open to training, this is your chance to gain industry experience with a flexible weekend role.

• Job Type: PRN (Per Diem)

• Location: Fairfax, VA area

• Schedule: FridaySunday availability preferred

• Pharmacy Hours:

• MonSat: 10:00 AM 8:00 PM

• Sunday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM

• Start Date: ASAP

  Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person and phone consultations with patients and caregivers

  • Educate patients on cannabis product use: dosing, methods of consumption, and potential effects

  • Assist patients in selecting the safest and most effective products for their needs

  • Ensure pliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and patient safety standards

  • Support onboarding and training of new pharmacy staff

  • Fulfill traditional pharmacist duties as needed (e.g., verification, counseling, dispensing)

  Ideal Candidate

  • Has an active Virginia Pharmacist License in good standing

  • Strong retail background minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy experience

  • Open to working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed

  • Flexible, adaptable, and fortable with on-call PRN scheduling

  • passionate municator with a passion for patient care

  Preferred Experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quick adoption of new systems
