Bus Driver Childcare

- Drive bus on all scheduled routes to and from school as well as approved activities
- Always operate within the legal speed limits and in safe fashion without exception
- Communicate with teachers, parents and children to meet the needs of each transported child
- Work a split shift – leaving the middle of your day free!
- Ability to relate positively with young children
- Ability to drive school bus to transport children to and from school
- High school diploma or equivalent; prefer some college course work related to early childhood education
- Clean driving record for the last five years
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
- Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Ability to commit to a split shift schedule
- Must be first aid and child/adult CPR certified
- Successful background check and VA licensing standards required
- At least 23 years of age
- Are reliable and dependable to a fault - our children depend on you!
