Interim Manager, Chaplain Services

The Position

• The Interim Manager of Chaplain Services will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and direction of all Chaplain Services throughout the facility.
• The Interim Manager will lead a team of approximately 11 FTEs, including six full-time chaplains and five PRN chaplains.
• Key responsibilities include assisting in the recruitment of new chaplains, decreasing turnover rate, productivity management, resource management, and team development.
• This leader will collaborate closely with a consultant group to develop and evolve the chaplain program, while simultaneously expanding on the number of denominations served.
• Must be a highly collaborative and empathetic leader that brings strong strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Master of Divinity degree is required.
• Board Certified Chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains is required.
• ACPE Certified Educator is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience is required.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $145,000 to $155,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
