Corporate Accountant
Weinstein Properties, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is a family-owned company with 70+ years of success that owns and self-manages apartment communities in Virginia, North Carolina and Texas. We are singularly focused on the customer experience, which informs everything we do and is a key to our success.
Where: Position will be based out of the Corporate Office in Glen Allen, VA
Schedule : Monday - Friday, Hybrid - part remote work with at least 2 days in office per week
Responsibilities:
- Property audits
- Account reconciliations
- Month end close journal entries
- Monthly financial statement review
- Preparation of year end tax workpapers (fixed asset system entries and trial balance review)
- Commercial lease management and accounting
- Real estate taxes
- Special projects
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years of accounting experience ideal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Detail Oriented
- Organized
- Ability to multi-task a must
