Location- Springfield, VA or Tampa, FL
Duration- 6 months with the possibility of extension

Our client, a leading IT Consulting organization, are hiring a ServiceNow ITOM Consultant to join their team on a six-month contract. The successful candidate will collaborate with forward-thinking customers to design and optimize network, storage and compute infrastructures within the ServiceNow CMDB.

Responsibilities

• Define solution requirements, architect integrations, and lead implementation efforts.

• Provide both hands-on configuration and leadership across project teams.

• Provide expert guidance on CMDB and Service Mapping design, modeling and strategy.

• Perform current-state evaluations and define target-state architectural solutions.

• Lead the configuration and deployment of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping capabilities.

• Drive integration initiatives across application, infrastructure and cloud environments.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams and junior consultants.

• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on CSDM 4.0 and ITSM/ITIL best practices.

Skillset

• Must hold an Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, focusing on CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Enterprise Architecture and integrations.

• Possess ServiceNow Mainline Certifications in Discovery and Service Mapping.

• Hold ServiceNow Micro-certification in CMDB.

• Proven expertise in Common Service Data Model (CSDM) 4.0, including modeling of network, storage and compute infrastructures.

• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure architectures, including cloud platforms, container technologies, and application services.

• Strong experience implementing ITSM/ITIL® processes and CMDB solutions.

• Previous experience in professional services or IT consulting roles.

• Expertise in defining tool requirements based on future-state (To-Be) process documentation.
