• Location: Rockingham, VA 22801 – Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, ideal for nurses seeking Virginia healthcare jobs with access to outdoor recreation and cultural attractions.
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (locum tenens)
• Specialty: Telemetry Nursing

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM start)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020 - $2070 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state – ideal for candidates seeking Virginia nursing jobs
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, cardiac health, and health maintenance
• Document all nursing care provided in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
