Private Family in Vienna, VA Seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper

Position: Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (family is also open to 8:30 AM–4:30 PM ). Friday hours may be added for an exceptional candidate if additional help is needed.
Salary: $30–$35 per hour , depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
Relocation: No – local candidates only

A warm and busy family located in Vienna, Virginia is seeking a dependable, experienced, and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper to help keep their household running smoothly. Both parents maintain busy schedules and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying organized, and can become a reliable part of their family's routine.

The primary focus of the role is housekeeping, laundry, and simple family cooking, while also being available in the afternoons to greet the children after school and assist with occasional school pickups.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed daily housekeeping, including cleaning and maintaining all living areas
• Complete family laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting clothing away
• Prepare simple, healthy family meals and assist with light meal prep
• Maintain an organized, tidy, and well-stocked home
• Assist with light household organization projects as needed
• Be home to greet the children after school and supervise them until parents return
• Provide occasional school pickups as needed
• Run occasional household errands if requested
• Take initiative to ensure the household runs smoothly without requiring constant direction

Requirements
